The Walt Disney World® Resort has announced two new interactive experiences to their Theme Parks this spring!

Bring out your inner Russell (from Disney•Pixar film Up) and  become a Wilderness Explorer in Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Using field guides, Guests will be able to help complete challenges and earn badges throughout the park. With over 30 different badges,Wilderness Explorers will be a fun new way to experience the park!

Have you always wanted to be a pirate?  Inside the Adventureland® Area of Magic Kingdom® Park, you can soon take part in A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas. Fight off pirate enemies like Captain Barbossa and Royal Navy, and earn a place in Captain Jack’s new crew.  Using their pirate map and magic talisman, Guests will be able to complete five different pirate raids and  help find the missing treasures. Unlike the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom® game, this new adventure will not be a card-powered game.

Although no official dates have been announced, Wilderness Explorers and A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas are planned to open this spring.   Keep posted here for future updates!
